Old Mervs dip into a heavier side on 'Parched', inviting elements of '90s grunge into their classic WA surf rock repertoire.
A track that nearly got binned entirely, this one allows the duo to get a bit thrashy while still giving us a full-bodied singalong moment.
"For me personally I couldn’t get Hole’s 'Malibu' film clip out of my head after we all talked about going real 90's surf rock," drummer Henry Carrington-Jones said about the track.
"It’s probably the hardest rock track on the album, but is super easy listening in its own way. Most importantly it’s a ripper to play together and bash out live!"
